Hello readers and bloggers! How are you all these days? I believe that you know that time is ticking as we age. It also terrifies me when I feel that time is ticking as December 2008 is approaching to the end and welcomes 2009. It makes me feel that I am already getting older +_+ So.. I decide to take Beauty Supplements to keep my skin healthy and young. But they ain’t cheap. They are still worthwhile as long as I take them regularly…

Here are the Beauty Supplements:

Left: Evening Primrose Oil 100mg (Pure and Natural with 10% GLA)
Benefits: It is a rich source of the essential fatty acid, ‘gamma-linolenic acid’ (GLA). Essential fatty acids such as GLA play a role in the structure of cell membranes, helping to maintain their fluidity and flexibility, and therefore assisting in the maintenance of normal skin health. Regular consumption of Evening Primrose Oil will help keep the skin supple and radiant. Evening Primrose Oil also supports hormonal balance and may be used to provide nutritional support for mild discomfort associated with pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS).
Verdict: My Skin is getting better and it really cures my PMS!

Right: Nutrition for Eyes (With Billbery & Beta-carotene)
Benefits: It is specially formulated to provide nourishment to the eyes and ideal for those experiencing from tired eyes. It also improves circulation to the eyes, promotes healthy eyes and preserves good eyesight. It assists day and night visual activities and reduces visual tiredness and eyestrain.
Verdict: My eyes no longer feel tired at work! I feel perked up!

Left: Vita Collagen Booster
Benefits: Collagen is the fibrous protein that forms the primary structural component of the skin to give its resilence and elasticity. However, the skin protein collagen is particularly susceptible to free radical damage and when this happens, the result is premature wrinkles, loss of elasticity and a dry, dull, leathery texture skin.

Vita Collagen Booster is a revolutionary breakthrough in skin care supplementation, combining marine collagen, acerola extract and zinc to help in the formation of healthy skin. Marine Collagen provides amino acids and glycosaminoglycans needed for the skin to maintain its moisture, elasticity and and firmness, thus revealing truly vibrant skin and skin smooth appearance. As one of the highest sources of vitamin C, acerola is involved in the formation of collagen and possesses antioxidant property to protect the skin. Zinc is added to enhance the metabolism of collagen, skin protein synthesis and wound healing.
Verdict: My skin is getting better. Mum once said to me, why my hands are smooth and supple.

Right: Women Multi
Benefits: It provides a perfect balance of 31 vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and herbs to supplement the diet of women of all ages. The full set of B vitamins and chromium provides physical and mental energy. Choline and Lecithin are added for optimal mental performance. Bone building nutrients like Calcium, Magnesium, Vitamin D and Soy support bone health. The antioxidant Vitamin A, C and E, Selenium, Copper and Zinc protect cells from free radicals.
Verdict: I just start taking them *LOLz* Since Women Multi can protect cells from free radicals which Collagen is particularly susceptible to free radical damage.

I get the supplements from John Little and OG Orchard. Actually you can get them from almost every where such as John Little, OG Dept Stores, Watsons, NTUC HealthCare, Mustafa and Guardian Pharmacy. However, some stores do not carry the ENTIRE RANGE of VitaHealth and Ocean Health. The prices range depending on the number of tablets in each bottle.

So think and pause then BUY.. Heee~ See ya~ I will be back for Pt. 3 sooner or later.. Stay tuned for this post! =)

Beauty Talk Pt. 1

To my readers and bloggers, I decide to talk about Beauty and Body to share the products which I have been using or my recommendations. Today, I am going to talk about the products which I have been using for sometimes already. I like these products cos of smell but they do not feel sticky on your skin. They feel like nothing on your skin but smooth and ample skin.

Firstly I recommend this Pink Grapefruit Body Butter from The Body Shop. Whenever I feel that my skin is dry, I apply it and volia! I love its smell! Very fruitty smell~ If you ask me about the price, I cannot remember cos I got it long time ago.

Pink Grapefruit Body Butter.. ahhh~ very nice smell~

That is the part of my leg! Not Photoshopped.. Very original~

It is also not Photoshopped…
So what do you think? Believe it or Not. Get it from The Body Shop and try it on your dry skin =)

Secondly, I also recommend Watsons’ Intensive Formula Collagen Hand Cream. I have been using it for sometimes when I feel my hands getting dry due to air con at work. The price is around $3 plus. I like its non-sticky cream and smell. Most hand creams I tried were really sticky although they smelt nice.

Watsons’ Intensive Formula Collagen Hand Cream. Applied as needed.

That is the back of my hand. Not Photoshopped.

See the difference? Buy the hand cream from any Watsons but I believe not all the Watsons outlets sell this. So try find it.. =)

I have ended the “Beauty Talk Pt 1”. See you again. *bows*** **Claps**

My Best Findings!

Today, during my lunch-buying hour, I went Lucky Plaza with my cleaner colleague to get the glass clock fixed. While getting the clock fixed, I went to the next shop which has many Factory Rejects. Factory Rejects are the unwanted goods or old stocks. The shop is on Level One near the escalator. When the top got my eyes cos I saw “Old Navy” label on this. I was like “AMERICAN LABEL at this SHOP?”
And.. I took it.. Bought it…

ONLY $5! OMG! Really F-CHEAP!

Old Navy Label intact!

After the top got my eyes, I went to the other side… I saw SPORTS JACKETS.. Ranging from Adidas to PUMA! I took one cos I like it.. So I bought it….

ONLY $20! Not kidding you!

Puma Label intact! I had to remove silver marker on the label by using Nail Polish Remover.

It is the company policy (from what I heard from the forum) to SLASH the Labels by cutting the labels off or markering them using silver or black markers. If you are LUCKY, you can find the BEST FINDINGS with Labels intact. Before you buy, you have to check the defects first. I was LUCKY to find them among the clothes racks.. =)

I m even surprised that I can find the clothes which are factory rejects at REALLY GOOD PRICES. Now I dun mind getting them as Factory Rejects as long as I can have the BEST FINDINGS.

Talking about Factory Rejects, I remember I went to USA with my parents before the 21st Century started. I think it was 1998 or 1999. I still remember that we went with a Singaporean Tour Group to Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Francisco. From Los Angeles, with the tour group, my parents and I were in a coach bus going through the Southern California desert town to reach Las Vegas. There was a huge factory outlet called Barstow Factory Outlet. It has over 90 factory outlets where you can find branded goods at a really great bargain prices. Most are over 50% to 90% off regular prices.

From there, Mummy got me GAP Jacket, DKNY Jeans, Anne Klein pants and some I don’t remember as it is very long time ago.

Enjoy reading about Barstow Factory Outlets. You won’t regret shopping there if you fly to USA.

For the time being, I hope to fly to Hong Kong in December this year as there are some factory outlets there too.

Meanwhile I just found the URL address for Barstow Factory Outlet

Today is the day I m going out with my parents. I have a good time with my parents. =)

After my lunch at home, I went to AXS Machine with Mummy to retrieve movie ticket which I booked online yesterday.

Daddy came to meet us at 7-Eleven opposite my home. We went to Plaza Singapura where the movie was held. The car park was really FULL! But lucky, we came at 1.15pm so we had enough time to walk around before going for our movie. We went to a few shops. And we fell in love with one shop selling beautiful colored papers, boxes, etc. It was called “MADE WITH LOVE” on Level 4. Mummy bought one for me….. =)

Price: $9.95

After shopping at “MADE WITH LOVE”, we went up for our movie.. Well, we were going to watch…..

A Movie for KIDS! *LOL*

But it was Daddy who really wanted to watch that. So I booked online… The movie is about…

“Enthusiastic, big and a little clumsy, Po (Jack Black) is the biggest fan of kung fu around…which doesn’t exactly come in handy while working every day in his family’s noodle shop. Unexpectedly chosen to fulfill an ancient prophecy, Po’s dreams become reality when he joins the world of kung fu and studies alongside his idols, the legendary Furious Five—Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Crane (David Cross), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Viper (Lucy Liu) and Monkey (Jackie Chan)—under the leadership of their guru, Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman). But before they know it, the vengeful and treacherous snow leopard Tai Lung (Ian McShane) is headed their way, and it’s up to Po to defend everyone from the oncoming threat. Can he turn his dreams of becoming a kung fu master into reality? Po puts his heart into the task, and the unlikely hero ultimately finds that his greatest weaknesses turn out to be his greatest strengths.”

Rating: G (General – Suitable for ALL AGES)
Featuring: Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, David Cross, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu, Jackie Chan, Dustin Hoffman
English subtitles (Cathay Cineplex AMK Hub, Mandarin version without subtitle)

10/10 (believe me or not. go watch it =P)

Not bad movie!! I had a good laugh.. After the movie, we went shopping at DAISO, a 2-dollar dept store. I love DAISO! Cos you can find many cute things there! DAISO at IMM is the BIGGEST branch. VivoCity’s DAISO is the second biggest. Plaza Singapura’s Daiso is the smallest.. *LOLz*
We had our dinner at Swensens.. YuMmY…..

After Plaza Singapura, we went to Sim Lim Square and Funan Centre to check out the price of the Modem but most shops were closed by the time we arrived =(

Lastly, Daddy dropped me and Mummy at NTUC Bishan near bus interchange for our groceries shopping while Daddy waited for us at the car park opposite NTUC Bishan.

And after our groceries shopping, HOME SWEET HOME! =P Really a tiring day! But we enjoyed…
