Before Dec 31, 2008 leaves for January 1, 2009, I decide to look back to the day where Pink Pool Party was held.

It was held at Orchard Scotts: Serviced Apartments. It was really beautiful. Very elegant and classy. Even the room was really beautiful. How I wish I can live there. But it is very super expensive to live as it is over SGD10K per month for rental!

I was invited to Pink Party Pool by Wendy who did not turn up that night. It was ironic for Wendy not to turn up at the party after she invited some of us. I met Daniel, Kelvin Ong, Kelvin Ho, George and Eugene at the Party. Later Yen and Terence turned up after their bath as they were swimming earlier on. I saw David and I was so happy to see him after a really long time. His eyes were really sparkling. He brought us to his room.. Wow beautiful.. Too bad I did not have the chance to stay in the apartment.

Trying out my SONY T-100 camera.. Told him to pose =)

Reflection of ME from the lift doors.. That was what I wore to the party ^^

Theme of the party was PINK. That was why I wore PINK tee. Looking at the spread of food and I saw a christmas log cake. David told me that it was from Fullerton Hotel, Number One’s Best Log Cake…

I tried… OMG! Tooo “high” alcoholic cake. Not up to my taste buds.

Terence was looking at Yen’s and my Falsies and commented. Yen and I decided to put Falsies on him! Haha~ He hesitated but we managed to persuade him!

Trying to pout sexily hor?

O_O! Ah Gua on the ALERT!

OmG! Dun he look sexy?

George Pukes! *LOLz*

Couple in “LOVE” ^^

Yen and I had fun dolling the poor Terence up! We did on him as we giggled. I told Terence to go home like that.. Heee… Finally had the whole gang photo with David the Organiser of the Party!

All the night long, Yen kept on commenting that my falsies were MAKING DAMN GOOD LOOK on my bright big eyes. She even kept on saying I look soso PRETTY.. I had lost the count of how many times she repeated. *LOLz*

So after the party, we went DYMK Bar to chill out…. ^^ Yen and Terence went home later on after the party.. ^^

**By the time you read, I am already in HONG KONG partying for NYE Celebration**

Hello readers and bloggers! How are you all these days? I believe that you know that time is ticking as we age. It also terrifies me when I feel that time is ticking as December 2008 is approaching to the end and welcomes 2009. It makes me feel that I am already getting older +_+ So.. I decide to take Beauty Supplements to keep my skin healthy and young. But they ain’t cheap. They are still worthwhile as long as I take them regularly…

Here are the Beauty Supplements:

Left: Evening Primrose Oil 100mg (Pure and Natural with 10% GLA)
Benefits: It is a rich source of the essential fatty acid, ‘gamma-linolenic acid’ (GLA). Essential fatty acids such as GLA play a role in the structure of cell membranes, helping to maintain their fluidity and flexibility, and therefore assisting in the maintenance of normal skin health. Regular consumption of Evening Primrose Oil will help keep the skin supple and radiant. Evening Primrose Oil also supports hormonal balance and may be used to provide nutritional support for mild discomfort associated with pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS).
Verdict: My Skin is getting better and it really cures my PMS!

Right: Nutrition for Eyes (With Billbery & Beta-carotene)
Benefits: It is specially formulated to provide nourishment to the eyes and ideal for those experiencing from tired eyes. It also improves circulation to the eyes, promotes healthy eyes and preserves good eyesight. It assists day and night visual activities and reduces visual tiredness and eyestrain.
Verdict: My eyes no longer feel tired at work! I feel perked up!

Left: Vita Collagen Booster
Benefits: Collagen is the fibrous protein that forms the primary structural component of the skin to give its resilence and elasticity. However, the skin protein collagen is particularly susceptible to free radical damage and when this happens, the result is premature wrinkles, loss of elasticity and a dry, dull, leathery texture skin.

Vita Collagen Booster is a revolutionary breakthrough in skin care supplementation, combining marine collagen, acerola extract and zinc to help in the formation of healthy skin. Marine Collagen provides amino acids and glycosaminoglycans needed for the skin to maintain its moisture, elasticity and and firmness, thus revealing truly vibrant skin and skin smooth appearance. As one of the highest sources of vitamin C, acerola is involved in the formation of collagen and possesses antioxidant property to protect the skin. Zinc is added to enhance the metabolism of collagen, skin protein synthesis and wound healing.
Verdict: My skin is getting better. Mum once said to me, why my hands are smooth and supple.

Right: Women Multi
Benefits: It provides a perfect balance of 31 vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and herbs to supplement the diet of women of all ages. The full set of B vitamins and chromium provides physical and mental energy. Choline and Lecithin are added for optimal mental performance. Bone building nutrients like Calcium, Magnesium, Vitamin D and Soy support bone health. The antioxidant Vitamin A, C and E, Selenium, Copper and Zinc protect cells from free radicals.
Verdict: I just start taking them *LOLz* Since Women Multi can protect cells from free radicals which Collagen is particularly susceptible to free radical damage.

I get the supplements from John Little and OG Orchard. Actually you can get them from almost every where such as John Little, OG Dept Stores, Watsons, NTUC HealthCare, Mustafa and Guardian Pharmacy. However, some stores do not carry the ENTIRE RANGE of VitaHealth and Ocean Health. The prices range depending on the number of tablets in each bottle.

So think and pause then BUY.. Heee~ See ya~ I will be back for Pt. 3 sooner or later.. Stay tuned for this post! =)

Away from Blogging

By the time you read it, I will be already in plane to Hong Kong. I won’t be blogging till I come back next month.

So do come back next year, Readers and Bloggers. I miss you all!

Lastly I wish you a Happy New Year and Happy Holidays! ^_^

Christmas is celebrated all over the world on December 25. Some historians say it is to signify the birth of Jesus Christ. Other historians say it is to signify the day how an ordinary man became Father Christmas.

Father Christmas is based on a real person, St. Nicholas, which explains his other name ‘Santa Claus’ which comes from the Dutch ‘Sinterklaas’. Nicholas was a Christian leader from Myra (in modern-day Turkey) in the 4th century AD. He was very shy, and wanted to give money to poor people without them knowing about it. It is said that one day, he climbed the roof of a house and dropped a purse of money down the chimney. It landed in the stocking which a girl had put to dry by the fire! This may explain the belief that Father Christmas comes down the chimney and places gifts in children’s stockings.

Many people do hope for more than presents at Christmas. We want to somehow return to a time in our childhood (or some other good time in the past), when life was simpler and made more sense, before the troubles of adult life arrived. We feel sure that behind all the fun and decorations, there must somehow be a message, something more, some key to life, hope and happiness.

So can we (you all and I) look beyond the way Christmas is celebrated today, and find any real meaning, any message for our lives today?

Many have tried to find real meaning for their lives, in an hundred different ways.
Others have given up, and said, “There is no answer, there is no meaning.”

But for our lives to have meaning and purpose, we must find answers.
A solution is needed that can answer each of my problems, Something that really works.

1. I need something that can help me handle life better
2. I need a new power to stop doing things I know are bad for me and others
3. I need strength to act in a new way
4. I need some way of dealing with my past – the hurtful things that have happened to me, and the things I realise now I did wrong, that have hurt me or others
5. I need real answers to the purpose of life – why I am here, and what is my life for
6. I need something for that space in my life that nothing else has filled
7. I need friendship in my life – a trustworthy relationship so that I am never alone
8. I need a way of taking important life decisions
9. I need something to take away fear – fear of the past, the future, bad luck, ancestors, spirits, death – all those things we try to forget

Then we can find such a solution together. We can find the missing piece of the jigsaw that makes everything else fit together. So I ask you to consider the solution. It may not seem believable to you at first. You may feel that it cannot be for you.

And I discover:

It is this:

* There is a creator God – He made everything for a purpose
* He is a real person, not just sort of power or force in the world
* It is possible to find Him and know Him
* He has made a way for this to happen
* He sent Jesus to live on the earth, to show us what God is like
* He loves you more than you can imagine
* He has a plan for your own life

So Love yourself for who you are. Nobody is to tell you to change yourself. You are UNIQUE yourself so be yourself. Do forget the PAST and look forward to the PRESENT and FUTURE then you will discover the TRUE YOU as you move on without looking at the PAST. I believe that you will do the same. Let the things of the PAST go, WELCOME the things of the PRESENT to come to your way and WAIT for the things of the FUTURE to come to your way.

Lastly, tomorrow is Christmas Eve, December 24. It is time for you to celebrate the day. Go out and have fun with your friends as well as exchange gifts. Be BIG HEARTED on that day and you will RECEIVE many goodwills when it comes along you. God is watching you with his blessings.

I m gonna to have fun tomorrow! I can’t wait to see the anticipating fun tomorrow night! I will be back after a REAL GOOD FUN of Celebrating Xmas Day ^^

So to all Bloggers and Readers, I wish you a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS DAY and enjoy your night ^^

Last night, we saw the trailer of The Day The Earth Stood Still on TV. Then Dad asked if we wanted to watch today. We agreed. So Mummy went buy movie tickets at Junction 8 when I was still working.

I bought some food and drinks from Old Chang Kee and 7-Eleven in case we got hungry as the movie was starting at 840pm. Dad came with Mum and picked me up from work. He drove fast to reach Junction 8 cos I knew that the car park would be FULL. When we reached, the carpark was not full.. Lucky… We went up to the cinema and took our seats…

The Movie STARTED at 9pm =_=

Synopsis:
A mysterious alien, Klaatu, travels to Earth with a simple mission; to save the planet. He lands his vast space ship in Central Park, New York and announces his plans to a fearful world watching from all corners of the globe. He will destroy everything then re-populate our planet with clones of the current species… All except humans who he feels are responsible for Earth’s destruction and must be permanently destroyed. He unleashes swarms of dust size robots who sweep through New York and the surrounding area dissolving everything in their path. As mankind fights to survive, one female scientist convinces Klaatu to stop the earth’s destruction and give us a second chance.

Run time:
104mins

Rating:
1 Star out of 5 for storyline and plot!
3 Stars out of 5 for Special Effects.

When we finished watching, we were like “WTF? ENDED LIKE TAT?” Luckily, today is Monday so cheaper tickets… After the movie, we went home and had a light dinner which Dad bought from the coffee shop downstairs..

Ahh.. it is really nice to be HOME~ ^_^

Boring Sunday!

Sunday, Dec 14.

It was really so boring! I wanted to go out but it had been raining the whole day.. It was really so good to sleep but yet it was really boring. The whole day I spent on blogging, watching WGM, napping, knitting, etc..

In the evening, Mummy cooked me dinner.. It was really DELICIOUS!

“SHELLS” Pasta! Chinese-style (?) Mummy’s Own Cooking

Mummy and I watched Millionaire Star on TV while waiting for Dad to come home from overseas. I often DOZED off on the DAMN COMFY SOFA! ahhaha.. Mummy came and put a blanket on me cos I was DAMN COLD. Sweet Mummy again.. I woke up at 1030pm to watch my fav K-Drama on Cable TV.

Dad came home just before 12am. He passed me the thing and told me…. “Why so expensive?”

That’s why.. *LOLz* He got it for me from DFS Airport! Hee~

I fell in love with the taste of MOET & CHANDON at PowerHouse recently. It was really nice to drink! I smirked evilly to Mummy saying that we would drink it.. Mummy laughed silently when Dad went BATHING.. Later on, Mummy asked “Want to drink now?” I told her that it needed to be chilled before serving. She said okay then WENT BED! *LOLz* Want Drink? Then WENT SLEEP? hahahah ^_^

Good Night Readers and Bloggers, I m off to BED =)

On Saturday, Dec 13, I met my sweet friend, Yen, at Hereen after being impatient to get out of my workplace. I do not like to work on Saturdays. Initially, I thought of taking a half day off from work but I did not as I would be greatly bored if I took a half day off. We walked around Hereen first before deciding to go Far East Plaza since we had not been there for ages. It was really tiring to walk to FEP as I was carrying a heavy backpack. My backpack was full of a 12” Beloved white iBook, a bag of rechargers, USB slots, makeup case, etc. Too many to be named. *LOLz*

Yen offered to carry my backpack. But I declined cos she looked pretty in her pure white/black dress. She said she was fine with it. So she carried my backpack as well as my x-girl leopard bag. I carried her bag. I was touched that she endured all the way carrying my really heavy backpack. My Dad was not in Singapore on that day. That was why I had to carry. Usually, Dad would come to my workplace to take my backpack home. I was not the PRINCESS for that night +_+

We finally reached FEP after a “long” walk. We went down to Level One to see what we wanted to buy. We walked around till we reached a shop, MONDO. We saw so many footwear. We took a real long time to try a few pairs! Hee~ And I saw a pair of green pumps.. I fell in love with them. Yen said they looked really nice. But I knew I could not wear them due to my weak ankles and knees. I told her to take photo of them secretly. She obliged and took a photo of them.

Pretty Green Pumps! (Wedges Pumps)

Then we decided on our purchases. I cleanly forgot taking photos of Yen’s trying on shoes. =_=

Black Gladiator Shoes. ONLY $9.90!!!!

They look great with my toenail colors! Yen liked my nail colors cos they were really pretty and nice color!

I painted it on my fingernails and toenails myself~ Nice Color right? They cost $30 for 2 (now $32 for 2).

We walked around FEP and stopped by Enamour Beauty as I wanted to take a look at nail polish colors. It is my favorite place as it has a very good service with young pretty staff. That is where I bought my nail color for my fingernails and toenails.

Enamour Beauty. RATE: VERY GOOD SERVICE! Friendly and attentive staff!

Yen told me that she loves falsies (False Lashes). I told her that DARKNESS is a good brand for falsies. She told me that she has a few of them at home. She purchased some of the items from that shop. The staff whom I know for sometimes, offered to put a pair of falsies on her eyelids. Yen was okay with it. Then the same staff asked me to try them on. I hesitated for some times then I obliged to try. She chose a shorter falsies for me as I was wearing a pair of spectacles. She was really professional and attentive towards us. She is very young.. I think in her early twenties or just 19 (?)

Falsies on our eyelids! The staff put glittery eyeliners for us! Sweet staff..

Thanks Yen! Two boxes of falsies costs $17.02 after 20% discount.

DARKNESS 2-in-1 Eyeliner & Eye Glue can last for 3 years as the staff claimed. She told us that the Made-in-China product would last only 1 year. We said to each other that we should try it since it is also an eye liner too. Previously, we had to use our fingers to fix the falsies to our eyelids. Really troublesome. Then we saw Eyelash Holder! Really very convenient and fast without any mess!

We ended our shopping moment and went Maxwell Food Centre to have our late dinner there. We met our friends there and stayed till the wee hours of the morning..

Reached home at 3am! Home Sweet Home~ Mummy was really sweet to stay up to wait for me.. I thought she would be sleeping cos she SMSed me saying she would be sleeping. But when I arrived home, she was watching her fav K-Drama on TV and waved at me! Sweet Mummy hor?

^^
